An Astrology-Inspired
Future-Predicting Kit.
Goal
My goal is to inspire people to learn more about astrology and use it as a way to get answers to the questions that they may have by crafting a more scientific aesthetics to astrology which is not commonly seen in the current market. We want this to be one of the methods people use to as a way to get answers to their questions.
Outcome
I conducted market research, developed brand positioning and materials research, and created brand identity guidelines, brand identity, package design and art direction. The products inside featured 4C The Tarot, 4C The Dice, 4C The Crystal, 4C The Moon and 4C The Guidebook.
Logo
The logo draws inspiration from birth charts which are unique to all of us. The brand "nebu" came from the word Nebula which signifies the beginning of something magnificent just like the beginning of a person's journey into their promising future as they start to use our kit. The typeface used for the logo is "Ofform" which is modular and Retro-futuristic: a handshake between the traditional method of predicting the future and the modern world.
Brand Guidelines
Our brand guideline begins from the goal to package astrology in a modern way, bridging the gap between traditional method and modern science. The black and white not only represent the darkness and light, but also beginnings and endings. Red and blue stem from that. Orange signifies the sun as source for wisdom, rather than inside. The bright blue color of the sky represents bright future of the user after they start using the kit. Mono typeface and the symbols are used through out as they are modular, aligning with our brand attributes.
